Who We Are
Grounded in connection, reflection, and meaningful growth
Helping Hands TLC is a social-emotional learning and capacity-building organization grounded in the belief that connection is essential to growth and well-being.

We focus on practical strategies that meet people where they are while supporting meaningful and sustainable growth.

Our Approach in action
Supporting Growth Where It Matters
When Learning Environments Feel Overwhelmed
Schools are navigating growing emotional complexity across students, staff and families. Without shared tools and intentional support, this strain can impact engagement, culture and well-being. Our work helps strengthen emotional awareness, regulation, and relationships so learning communities remain supportive, responsive, and sustainable.
When Leadership Requires More Than Strategy
Leading teams and organiztions means navigating emotions, relationships, and pressure often at the same time. Many teams have technical skill but lack shared tools for communication, regulation, and relational decision-making. We help leaders and teams build emotional intelligence and relational capacity so they can lead with clarity, and intention.
When Care and Connection Need Support
Caregivers, families, and community members are often holding emotional weight without space to process or recharge. Over time, this strain impacts well-being, relationships, and resilience. Our work supports individuals and families in building awareness, regulation, and sustainable practices that strengthen connection and long-term care.
Where Our Work Shows Up
SEL for Everyone — where people live, lead, and support others

SEL for School Leaders
School leaders navigate complex emotional, relational, and systemic demands while shaping culture and outcomes. We support leaders in strengthening self-regulation, relational decision-making, and sustainable leadership capacity.

SEL for Educators and Staff
Educators and staff work within high-pressure environments that require emotional awareness and adaptability. Our work supports reflective practice, relational skill-building, and strategies that strengthen classroom climate and professional well-being.

SEL for Caregivers and Families
Caregivers and families often carry overlapping emotional, relational, and systemic responsibilities. We support caregivers in building regulation, communication, and resilience to sustain care with intention and balance.

SEL for Community Organizations
Community organizations operate at the intersection of service, systems, and human need. We support teams in strengthening emotional awareness, collaboration, and capacity to navigate complex community-facing work.

SEL for Teams Navigating Change
Periods of change place unique emotional and relational strain on teams. We help teams build shared language, regulation strategies, and relational practices that support adaptability and cohesion during transition.

SEL for Individuals
Social emotional learning supports personal awareness, regulation, and relational growth beyond organizational roles. We work with individuals seeking reflective, practical support for navigating life, work, and responsibility with greater intention and care.
Why Choose Us
We approach social emotional learning through a whole-person lens, supporting individuals, teams, and organizations in building awareness, connection, and sustainable capacity.

Practical Strategies That Translate
We prioritize tools and practices people can actually use — not abstract concepts. Our work helps individuals and teams move from awareness to action in real-world settings.

Capacity-Centered Skill Building
We build emotional and relational capacity that people can use and sustain over time. Our work supports practical skill development that translates into everyday decision-making and interaction.

Designed for Real Environments
We understand the pressures of schools, organizations, and community spaces. Our work accounts for complexity, emotional demand, and competing priorities — because that’s where growth actually happens.

Sustainable Impact For Change
We help individuals and teams align emotional awareness with real-world responsibilities. Our work bridges roles, expectations, and priorities so SEL supports coherence rather than adding complexity.
